Susie Travis

Integrative Therapist MBACP

I'm an integrative counsellor providing therapy face-to-face in Bath or online nationwide.I'm currently working a lot with issues around self-esteem, anxiety, relationship struggles and depression. I do a lot of work with students and young adults, as well as with clients who are struggling with burnout, work stress and family dynamics.I will offer a non-judgemental space and walk alongside you as you process emotions and build awareness at your own pace. You may want to talk through something significant that has happened in your life, or you may be feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed in your life now. There may be some reflection on your past experiences and talking through how these may be affecting you in the present.Together we can identify patterns of behaviour that may no longer be serving you well and help to enrich your relationship with yourself and others.

What is Integrative Therapy?

Integrative therapy draws from a range of different approaches including psychodynamic, humanistic and transpersonal elements. This means that I can tailor my approach to suit your needs.Humanistic ideas are the foundations of the work, they focus on personal growth and self-actualisation through a client-centred approach.Psychodynamic therapy explores unconscious processes, unresolved conflicts, and childhood experiences to bring about insight and healing. Helping you live a more fulfilling life in the present. The transpersonal aspect focuses on the spiritual elements, looking at self-discovery, connection, and expanded consciousness for holistic development.
